Have you ever try to focus you ETX telescope when your telescope is aiming at Polaris in the Polar position. You can't. What about when the telescope is pointing at zenith when the telescope is in the upright (alt/az) position. You can't. You simply cannot reach the focusing knob. With this Flexible Focusing Extension, you can focus the telescope in ANY position. See flexible focuser in Polar home position.

This flexible focusing Extension allows fine, smooth and vibration dampening focusing without bump the telescope with you fingers. The dampening action of the vinyl coated cable makes the focusing smooth and vibration free.

Simple Installation Instruction:

1) Remove the focusing knob from your telescope with the allen key that comes with your telescope.
2) Put the focusing knob on the Flexible Focusing Extension, tighten with the Allen key.
3) Put the extension on to the focusing shaft and tight the screws on the extension collar.
